The Board of Trustees serves as the primary governing body of the Malaysia Programme Office for Power Electricity Reform Corporation (MyPOWER). Comprising senior government representatives across key economic, financial, and energy portfolios, the Board ensures that MyPOWER’s strategic initiatives remain strictly aligned with national priorities and international standards.
Core Responsibilities
Policy Alignment
Directing organisational strategy in harmony with the Ministry of Energy Transition & Water Transformation (PETRA), Ministry of Finance (MOF), and Ministry of Economy.
Fiduciary Oversight
Ensuring institutional accountability, regulatory compliance, and transparent resource management as a Company Limited by Guarantee (CLBG).
Strategic Guidance
Steering national energy transition roadmaps, including the Future-Proofing MESI (FP MESI) framework and Nuclear Energy Programme Implementing Organisation (NEPIO) initiatives.
